Process gas screw compressors business sails against the current and remains stable

“Rowing against the current, either advance or retreat. We hope that all cadres will demonstrate the courage to take the lead and seize the opportunity during this extraordinary period. Take the initiative to shoulder responsibilities, innovate work methods, adjust work patterns, and proactively plan and arrange the progress of work, business trips, and other tasks after the comprehensive resumption of work and production, ensuring the full achievement of annual goals.” On May 20th, the Compressor Division of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation’s 711 Institute held an online mobilization meeting for epidemic prevention and control, as well as work resumption. They coordinated and deployed arrangements for epidemic prevention and control, as well as work resumption

During the epidemic, in order to ensure the smooth progress of marketing work, several marketing personnel from the compressor department who were on business trips chose to stay in other places instead of returning to Shanghai. They volunteered to be stationed in other areas and cooperated with the online technical team, taking the initiative to attack. In the past two months, they have successfully won 16 bidding projects

Yulong Petrochemical has won the bid for a 20 million-ton integrated refining and petrochemical project, with a total of 5 sets of torch Process gas screw compressor sunits. Previously, the 711 Institute had already signed contracts for multiple sets of compressor units for tower top gas, analysis gas, separation exhaust gas, and scrubbing tail gas in this project. This further solidifies the 711 Institute’s leading position in the field of process gas screw compressors.

The stable gas screw compressor of Iraq Hafaya is facing severe challenges in production due to the epidemic. The project team has carefully organized and coordinated, and urgently transported the unit to the production base located in another province for the next step of production. While using video and phone calls to maintain close communication with users, project team members promptly address production issues, ensuring that the unit of this project arrives at the port as scheduled and delivered to users.

The PSA analysis gas compressor unit for the Lianyungang Petrochemical ethane dehydrogenation to ethylene plant is a core equipment of the hydrogen production process. As the project is about to start, it is necessary for the unit equipment to arrive at the site as soon as possible. The project team actively communicates with the user and adopts flexible delivery methods such as partial disassembly and on-site assembly to minimize the delivery cycle of the unit.

The Anqing Petrochemical Styrene 816 Compressor Unit is a large-scale styrene project undertaken by the 711 Institute. This main engine is currently the largest diameter styrene process compressor in China. Before the epidemic lockdown, the project production team took immediate action and stationed at Baoshan production base, overcoming various living difficulties and completing the complete production work of the Anqing Petrochemical Styrene 816 Compressor Unit.

At the Zhejiang Petrochemical site, the after-sales service personnel diligently completed every commissioning task, successfully ensuring the smooth operation of two sets of chemical torch gas recovery units and the commissioning test of equipment for the butadiene project. With this, a total of more than 40 sets of compressors provided by 711 Institute for Zhejiang Petrochemical’s Phase I and Phase II refining, chemical, and torch recovery projects have been successfully put into operation.

At the Maoming Petrochemical site, the super-large high-temperature exhaust screw compressor unit developed jointly by 711 Institute, Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Company, and Maoming Petrochemical has entered the on-site commissioning and testing phase. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the project’s after-sales personnel have been actively overcoming difficulties since unpacking. They have been steadfastly working on the front line for over two months, promptly understanding various issues, providing timely feedback, and resolving them in a timely manner. Finally, in April, they successfully completed a one-time trial run.
