Recently, China Shipbuilding Group 711 Institute successfully won the bid for four sections of the fine chemical and raw material engineering project of North Huajin United Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “North Huajin United Petrochemical”), including more than ten sets of screw compressor units. The total amount exceeds 170 million yuan.
The fine chemical and raw material engineering project of North Huajin United Petrochemical mainly includes a refining capacity of 15 million tons per year, an ethylene capacity of 1.65 million tons per year, and a p-xylene capacity of 2 million tons per year. This project is a key development project in promoting the new round of revitalization strategy in Northeast China and strengthening, optimizing, and expanding the petroleum and petrochemical sector.
The equipment awarded by the 711 Institute includes MVR heat pump units for epoxy propane plants, tail gas compressors for styrene plants, PSA tail gas compressors for aromatic hydrocarbon joint plants, rich ethane gas compressors and rich ethylene gas compressors for carbon dioxide recovery units. Among them, the MVR heat pump unit for epoxy propane plant can improve steam utilization rate and effectively reduce operating costs for users’ facilities; The PSA tail gas compressor unit changes traditional reciprocating models, greatly reducing customers’ initial investment and subsequent equipment maintenance costs while increasing continuous operation time by at least five times.
